The 20th century community organizer who used 21st century tools for his people-powered White House campaign now finds himself besieged by citizens airing their grievances at 19th century-inspired town hall style meetings.

One additional comment: I have listened to Rush Limbaugh and base my opinion of him on exactly those things I hear him say....I believe he is a 'troublemaker' and dangerous to the civility that was once held in high regard in America. And, i believe completely that evil unchallenged will thrive and grow and ultimately fracture our great country. I feel the same way about Hannity and Beck. O'Reilly is tolerable occasionally. BTW = do YOU ever listen to or watch the pure news programs - OR, do you ever get your facts from CSpan? From your comments to me I would guess that you are another of Limbaugh's "ditto=heads"....If I'm wrong, do accept my apology, please. I get my truths and form my opinions based on what the individuals say and not what someone else says they said.

Bonnie, I accept your criticism of my 'bashing'; I wonder where you stood when all the slime and untruths about President Obama were being circulated by the radical right-wing of the Republican party. Do you feel it is okay for the right to slander in vicious ways policies and candidates they do not agree with and all the while expect us to remain silent?
One other comment: A 7,453,003 majority is a darn site more than the Supreme Court gift of the presidency to Bush

Delores - You need to keep in mind that although Obama did receive 69,456,898 votes, 61,913,895 American people did not vote for him. Most of those that did not vote for him did so because of his belief in more government control. When you speak of a mandate you have to remember that a 7,453,003 difference isn't really a majority.
In regard to your excessive Rush Limbaugh bashing, I must believe that you do not listen to him very often and are only going on what you have heard others comment about. Much of his program consists of some of the 61,913,895 American people calling in to voice their concerns over the policies of the Democrats in Congress who have been in control for the past two years... precisely when things started to fall apart.
Many of your comments contain crude barbs directed at the former president and Republicans in general. You would make more of an impact if you spent less time bashing and more on what policies you believe Obama has right. Your only comment about President Obama was that he is intelligent. That doesn't win me over.
